The Final Countdown!

I'm not a huge Europe fan, but I can't get the song "The Final Countdown" out of my head right now.

Yesterday we got a definitive date on when we will have to have this baby by. We are scheduled for an induced labor next Wednesday at 7:30 am. I think Jamie wanted to go even earlier than that, but we are just now on the due date today. It's crazy to think that in a week or less I will be a dad. The level of responsibility that demands surely won't hit me until the baby is in my arms.

So last night was probably the best college football game I've seen...ever. I had five high school guys over from my small group for the game and it was a great time. I miss hanging out with those guys and it will be really difficult to see them all leave after next year. It's amazing how much maturity and growth occurs during high school.

This weekend is looking like more work on the bathroom. I still have a section of adhesive to scrape off the walls and then I can start thinking about removing the medicine cabinet. Once that is out we can paint. That room has come a long ways since we bought the house. I can't wait to have it finished!
